April is Foot Health Month

April is Foot Health Awareness Month Did you know your feet carry you around 115,000 miles in your life? Keeping your feet healthy is important! To keep your feet healthy:    Look at your feet each day with a mirror. Check for peeling, dry skin, or cracks.    Dry your feet and between your toes after you shower to help prevent infections. Then use a good lotion to moisturize your feet (but not between your toes).    Don’t leave nail polish on all year. Especially if you are topically treating them for nail fungus.     Stretch your feet, ankles, and legs regularly to keep your muscles strong.    If you have diabetes (high blood sugar), see a foot doctor regularly.    Be active and eat healthy foods. This can help you stay at a healthy weight. Being overweight can lead to foot problems.    Make sure your shoes fit well! Wear shoes with a good support and a low heel. Limit
